Applicable Substrate: treated and untreated PET materials
Performance Characteristics: UV, strong adhesive force, fast curing speed, and a wide range of suitable printing materials.
Applicable Substrate: treated and untreated PET materials
FD-D series ink is a UV-curable ink suitable for printing on processed and untreated PET materials.
1. Superior adhesive force for various PET materials.
2. It has relatively good adhesive force for ABS, PC, PVC and treated PP, PE, etc.
3. The ink has good overprint property and excellent interlayer adhesive force.
4. Fast curing speed and excellent various resistances.
Printing substrate: ABS, PC, PVC, PET does not require treatment, while PET, PP, PE and other materials need treatment. Dyne value is greater than or equal to 50
Screen mesh count: 350 mesh or above
UV lamp types: Halogen lamps, mercury lamps, and LED lamps can all be cured
Curing energy: ≥100 mj/cm ²
1. Surface treatment of the substrate: For difficult-to-adhere materials such as PET, PP, and PE, the treatment degree should reach over 50 dynes. Flame, corona, and plasma treatments can be adopted. Insufficient handling will lead to insufficient adhesive force and significantly reduce Ink performance.
2. The FD-03 water-resistant additive can enhance the adhesive force and water resistance of the ink, and the addition amount is 3%-5%. After adding the FD-03 water-resistant additive, the ink will undergo a low-speed cross-linking reaction. It is recommended that the ink be used up within 8 hours, prepared and used immediately to avoid waste. The UV curing speed will decrease. It is recommended to test the relevant performance 24 hours after the UV curing of the ink.
In the case of overlapping printing, under the premise of ensuring that the ink can cure, it is recommended to appropriately reduce the curing energy of the first few printing inks and enhance the curing energy of the last printing ink to guarantee the overprinting performance and curing effect of the ink. If the printing ink in the front cures excessively, it will lead to problems such as poor adhesive force of the superimposed printing ink in the back.
4. The stability of the FD series gold and silver Ink is not good. If the gold and silver effect needs to be printed, customers can add gold powder and silver powder to the Ink blending oil, stir evenly and then print.
1. Comply with the requirements of regulations such as ROHs, REACH, ASTM F963, EN71-3(except gold and silver), California 65, etc., and meet the control requirements of VOCs in GB 38507-2020.
2. If there are control requirements for PAHs, please use it with caution.
