Energy-curing ink

FD-YK series

Energy-curing ink

Performance Characteristics: UV, Strong adhesion, fast curing speed, stackable, good flexibility, and no cracking after bulging.

Applicable Substrate: Processing PET and PC materials

Detailed

1. Overview

FD-YK series ink is a UV curable ink suitable for printing PET and PC materials.

II. Performance Characteristics

1、 Good adhesion to PET and PC materials.

2、 The surface of the ink layer is smooth and even.

3、 Good ink overlay and excellent interlayer adhesion.

4、 The ink does not crack after bulging.

III. Dilution

In general, ink does not need to be diluted and can be printed directly. If the viscosity is too high, FD-310 diluent can be added, and the amount should not exceed 10%.

IV. Printing Conditions

Printing substrate: PC material does not require treatment, PET material requires surface treatment

Screen mesh size: above 350 mesh

Fifth, Curing Conditions

UV lamp types: halogen lamp, mercury lamp, LED lamp can all cure

Curing energy:≥ 100  mj/cm2

6. Cleaning

Please use SS-485 cleaning agent to clean the mesh board.

Screen type: Please use a ketone resistant screen

7. Ink Performance Testing

Printing Ink: FD-YK-5220A Matte Oil

Printing substrate: Processing PET

Screen mesh size: 350 mesh

Curing conditions: curing energy 150mj/cm2

Conclusion

Adhesion

Baige method, 3M616 adhesive tape peeling

Do not peel off

Water resistance

Soak in room temperature water for 24 hours, observe the appearance and adhesion changes of the ink layer

No abnormalities

Alcohol resistance

Learning vibration type friction resistance testing machine, soaked in alcohol cotton cloth, with a load of 500g, wiped without falling off multiple times

>200 times

Oil resistance to gasoline

Learning vibration type friction resistance testing machine, soaked in gasoline cotton cloth, with a load of 500g, wiped without falling off multiple times

>200 times

8. Precautions

1、 Ink needs to be printed multiple times. When printing, yellow and dark ink should be printed first, followed by light ink.

2、 Ink needs to be printed multiple times, it is recommended to use LED lights for curing.

3、 If using halogen lamps or mercury lamps, in the case of overlapping printing, it is recommended to reduce the curing energy of the first few printing inks appropriately while ensuring that the ink can be cured, and enhance the curing energy of the last printing ink to ensure the ink overlay performance and curing effect. If the printing ink solidifies excessively earlier, it can lead to problems such as poor adhesion of the overprinted ink later on.

9. Environmental Protection

1、 Compliant with ROHs, REACH, ASTM F963, EN71-3 (excluding gold and silver), California 65 and other regulatory requirements.

2、 Please use with caution if there are control requirements for PAHs.
