Brief introduction
The performance of SS8(EP)-000 series ink is similar to that of SS8-000 series ink, but SS8(EP)-000 series ink complies with the requirements for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK of Germany. SS8(EP)-000 series ink belongs to benzene-free ink.
Features
1. The ink performance is consistent with that of SS8000 ink and does not contain benzene-based solvents.
2. The PAHs content of the ink must be inspected in each batch, and it should be less than 1ppm.
Drying conditon
Ink type: Single-component, evaporative drying type
Drying time: 15-30 minutes at room temperature
Heating and drying time: 5-10 minutes at 80℃
Notes
Most PAHs substances are produced by the incomplete combustion of organic substances and are widely present in various chemical substances. Inks without PAHs are highly susceptible to contamination due to multiple factors during use, resulting in excessive PAHs content. Therefore, when using SS8(EP)-000 series ink, attention should be paid:
1. SS8(EP)-000 series ink should not be mixed with any other inks.
2. Diluting the ink can only be done using the SS-705(EP)Diluent(standard) or SS-783(EP)Diluent(slow drying) provided by our company.
3. For cleaning the screen, please use the above Diluent or SS-485(EP) cleaning agent.
4. The plate-making materials and printing substrates, etc. should be ensured to be free of PAHs.
5. At the operation site, non-series inks and their matching Diluent, paints, gasoline, kerosene, diesel and other organic liquids should be avoided. Inks must not come into contact with containers or materials coated with paint. Please stir the ink with clean and uncoated metal materials and keep it away from cooking fumes and smoke.
